Let’s gather virtually and paint in watercolors. I will introduce or build on the wonderful medium of watercolors in this workshop for all levels.

Watercolor has a spontaneity to it that still thrills me. Let’s explore it together in this workshop. This 2 hour workshop will cover washes and techniques to interpret loose pumpkins on notecards. I will guide you through the process with demos and then time for you to create your own 3-5 notecard size paintings. You will have time to show your work and ask questions. Your experience will equip you to move forward with watercolors to paint more on your own or sign up for online classes to receive the continued guidance. These online classes make great gifts too!

No experience is required. Come as you are with curiosity and a desire to learn more about the wonderful medium of watercolors.

All levels welcome!

Please note this class will be taught virtually over the easy platform of zoom. You can join me and follow along from anywhere you live. You can even have a friend join you in your space or they can follow along right from their own address as well. I have had participants taking the class with me simultaneously from New York, Missouri, Texas, California and Nebraska. Technology at its best.

Recommended supplies:

• arches 140# cold press watercolor paper.  6 sheets, approximately 4" x 6"ish

• 6 and 14 round watercolor brush (approximately)

• 1" flat watercolor brush

• liner or detail round watercolor brush.  Approx. size 0-2

• watercolor paints ( if purchasing, please contact me for recommendations )

• masking tape

• foam board, acrylic board or gator board, cutting board, sheet of stiff plastic approximately 9" x 11"

• squirt bottle of water

• paper towels

• hair dryer

• laptop, desk top computer or ipad recommended for viewing
