Hello Everyone,

Saturday, February 29th. 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Who else is captivated by owls besides me? I can hear them around my house at dusk and dawn. I get excited just listening to them. There has even been one perched in a tree just a few feet from our house. I am attracted to these feathered friends so I am creating a workshop all about owls. Not only will we be painting owls, we will have a guest speaker join us for the the first 30 minutes of this workshop. Lynn, our guest speaker is an expert on all birds. She runs a bird rescue farm in Gravette. Lynn will be educating us about owls and will be bringing a real owl to the studio so we can see one up close and personal.

I love the look watercolor notecards. Painting small is quick and rewarding. Not only fun to paint and to send to others as a personalized hand painted notecard, they also look great in a fun 5x7 frame. Display in your home, office or pass on as a gift! During the 3 hour workshop we will complete 3 different owl notecards.

Watercolor has a unique personality. I have been exploring this medium for over 11 years. It still surprises me and excites me. I will guide you through the process with demos and then time for you to create your own three separate notecards. Your experience will equip you to move forward with watercolors to paint more of these on your own.

No experience is required. All levels are welcome. Come as you are with curiosity and a desire to learn more about the wonderful medium of watercolors.
