In-Person Workshop: Skies in Watercolor

Join me for a fun and creative workshop where we’ll explore painting skies with transparent watercolor. In this session, we’ll work with a technique where no white paint is used, allowing the washes and spontaneity of watercolor to shine! No drawing skills required. I’ll provide reference images, but feel free to bring your own inspiring sky photos to share.

• 💧 Learn basic washes & techniques to create texture

• 🎥 Watch me demonstrate how to build watercolor washes

• 🖌️ Time to paint independently & ask questions

• 🌈 Walk away with the confidence to continue painting on your own or sign up for online classes for continued guidance

• 🖼️ Create your own 3 watercolor notecards after several warm up watercolor exercises

arches 140# cold press paper 3-5 sheets, 4" x 6" or 5” x 7”

4 and 14 round watercolor brush

1/2 “ or 3/4" flat watercolor brush

liner or detail round watercolor brush. Approx. size 0-4

watercolor paints (if purchasing, please contact me for recommendations)

invisible ink pen (optional)

masking tape

foam board, acrylic board or gator board, approximately 8" x 10"
